Published November 29, 2008

ISLAMABAD, Nov 28: The Joint Action Committee of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) and All Pakistan Newspaper Employees’ Confederation (Apnec) has chalked out a month-long programme to protest against non-implementation of the 7th Wage Award.

A meeting of the committee held at the PFUJ secretariat here on Thursday decided to continue the campaign till the implementation of the wage award, which it said was a constitutional and legal right of the workers of which they had been deprived since 2000.
