Lawyers boycott courts

GUJRANWALA, Nov 27: Lawyers on Thursday boycotted court proceedings and staged a rally in connection with their weekly demonstration for the reinstatement of all sacked judges, especially chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.

The protesting lawyers gathered at the barroom and held a meeting with bar president Malik Shaukat Awan in the chair.

Later, they took out a rally, which started from district courts and terminated at Gondlanwala Chowk.—Correspondent
