KARACHI, May 11: Pak Star beat Malir Muslim Cricket Club by 125 runs to qualify for final of Haji Sir Abdullah Haroon Memorial cricket tournament played here at Airport Stadium Friday.

Batting first Pak Star C.C. scored 251 for nine in 35 overs. Arshad Azam 66 with ten fours and Muhammad Javed 61 with seven fours and six played well. Off-spinner Imran Alam got three wickets for 38.

In reply Malir Muslim Cricket Club were all out for 125 in 22.5 overs. Opener Azhar Hussain made 61 runs with six fours. Leg spinner Imtiaz Iqbal claimed three wickets for 24.

M.Javed of Pak Star C.C was declared Man of the Match.

The final will be played between Malir Contonment Gym and Star cricket club at KCCA ground.—PPI
