Jr badminton tourney gets under way

LAHORE, Nov 26: A total of 40 qualifying round matches were decided in U-19 and U-16 categories of boys on the first day of the National Junior Badminton championship at the New Khan Hall on Wednesday.

As many as 20 matches, all of one-set each, were held in the U-19 categories and remaining in U-16.

The main round for boys and girls will start simultaneously from Thursday.
