LAHORE, Nov 24: The PCB has decided to hold the one-dayers’ Pentangular Cup, which earlier had been eliminated by the previous management on the pretext that no allocation was made in the budget.

The five-team contest starts at the Gaddafi Stadium, from Dec 15.

There will only be one match in Lahore while all the remaining 10 matches, including the final, will be played at National Stadium, Karachi.

While the match at Lahore begins at 11a.m, the fixtures at National Stadium, Karachi are to start at 2pm.

Selection committee headed by Abdul Qadir, which met on Monday, discussed the format of the event.

Schedule:

Dec 15: Punjab vs Federal Areas, Gaddafi Stadium.

Dec 16: Sindh vs Balochistan, National Stadium Karachi.

Dec 17: Punjab vs NWFP, National Stadium Karachi.

Dec 18: Federal Areas vs Balochistan, National Stadium Karachi.

Dec 19: Punjab vs Balochistan, National Stadium Karachi.

Dec 20: Sindh-NWFP, National Stadium Karachi.

Dec 21: Sindh vs Federal Areas, National Stadium Karachi.

Dec 22: NWFP vs Balochistan, National Stadium Karachi.

Dec 23: Punjab vs Sindh National Stadium Karachi.

Dec 24: NWFP vs Federal Areas, National Stadium Karachi.
