Rehan makes WorldHockey All Stars Team

LAHORE, Nov 23: Pakistan hockey’s striker Rehan Butt has been selected in WorldHockey All Stars Team 2008.

After the success of the WorldHockey All Star Teams in 2006 and 2007, the International Hockey Federation (FIH) has announced the WorldHockey All Star Teams of 2008, which includes only the best 18 players of the world in each gender, chosen by hockey experts from all over the world.

The WorldHockey All Star Teams were announced in Los Angeles, USA, on the eve of the FIH Congress and meetings week, which began Sunday. During the week, the FIH will also announce the 2008 Players of the Year, for which there will also be an awards ceremony at Universal Studios on Nov 28.
