Three killed as car rams into tractor

MIRPURKHAS, Nov 23: Three people, including a woman, were killed and three others suffered injuries in a road accident near Al Abbas Sugar Mills on Mirwah-Digri road on Sunday.

The accident took place when a car going to Karachi from Jhuddo town rammed into a tractor trolley loaded with sugarcane, killing three people on the spot.

Those injured were taken to rural health centre

Mirwah where emergency was declared and doctors provided first aid.

Hundreds of people of Mirwah Gorchani town, including a union council nazim, Chaudhry Ahsanul Haq, arrived at the rural health centre.

The deceased and injured were not identified till the filing of this report.

BOOKED: A landlord was booked in a rape case in Jhuddo on Saturday. Complainant Veermo Kolhi lodged an FIR under section 376 PPC with Jhuddo police, alleging that his daughter had gone to fetch water at the hand pump of the Rasheed Jatt village, Deh 313, Jhuddo taluka, when accused Ghulam Mustafa Jatt forcibly took her to a nearby room, criminally assaulted her and escaped.

Jhuddo police brought the girl to the rural health centre Jhuddo where her medical check-up was conducted. Her report is awaited.
