Rehan moves to third round in Jr TT

KARACHI, Nov 22: Rehan Lari defeated Hammad Khalil 11-4, 11-3 in the second round of the Karachi Open Junior table tennis tournament at the Sindh Sports Board Complex on Friday evening.

In another match, Akbar Nadir Shah overpowered Shahrukh 11-2, 11-5.

The pair of Sana and Ayesha advanced to girls’ doubles semi-finals by trouncing Ghania and Faiza 11-3, 11-5 in the quarter-final.

Girls’ top seed Maliha Khursheed was in great form, handing out a crushing 11-1, 11-2 defeat to Uroosa Murtaza in the second round of girls’ singles.
