ISLAMABAD, Nov 21: Army Chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at the PM House on Friday.
The army chief apprised the prime minister about his recent visit to Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
The security situation, frequent drone attacks and the unanimous resolution adopted by the parliament came under discussion.
They also discussed the formation of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security and the forthcoming of the committee briefing by foreign minister, defence minister, interior adviser and ISI’s director-general.—APP
