Woman torched by in-laws

HYDERABAD, Nov 17: Ms Abida Khanum suffered serious burns in Hussainabad when her in-laws allegedly tried to torch her alive in the presence of her husband on Monday.

She has been shifted to a Karachi hospital as she has 75 per cent burns.

According to her brother, Nadir, her in-law Shakoor and his wife Ms Saleema doused her in petrol and set her ablaze in the presence of her husband Noorullah.

He claimed that the dispute, which led to the incident, started over a petty domestic dispute.
