MUZAFFARGARH, Nov 9: Former Punjab governor Ghulam Mustafa Khar has decided to form a new political party and he will make an announcement in this regard in December.
Talking to journalists at Aiwan-i-Sahafat by telephone here on Sunday, Khar said homework on the new party had been completed and known people from across the province would join his party at a convention in Lahore next month.
Khar said Pakistan needed new policies and a new party. He said the government’s policies disappointed people. He said his party would restore sacked chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry. —Correspondent
