KHAR, Oct 30: Two persons were killed when a mortar shell hit their house in Bichena area on Thursday.
Sources said that the persons, whose names could not be ascertained immediately, were killed and another was injured as the mortar shell hit their house in Bichena areas of Khar tehsil, some ten kilometres away from Khar.
Meanwhile, security forces claimed that several militant hideouts were destroyed in Tehsils Mamoond, Nawagai and Khar during artillery shelling on Wednesday night and Thursday. No casualty was reported till filing of the report.
Helicopter gunship pounded suspected positions of the Taliban in Charmang area of tehsil Nawagai.
