KARACHI, Oct 29: Six ships carrying imported wheat, and to load cement and molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where 10 ships were berthed on Wednesday: They are Sima Sahba, Montania, and AOL Chicago to unload and load containers, Al-Abdulla to load cement, Afra, and Bunga Lanka to unload and load general cargo, Yangtse River, bulk carrier, Lalazar, M.M.M Kingston, and Petali Lady, oil tankers.

Sailing was also active as nine ships, Cap George, Admire Coral, Yamamah, Mol Admiration, Alyia, Madura, Sima Pride and Bulk Arrow departed on Wednesday, while Sima Sahba, APL Chicago,

Kota Hapas, Malika Naree, Lalazar, Chopol-2, and M.M.M. Kingston are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total volume of 0.125m tons comprising 46,523 tons of export cargo and 78,400 tons of import tonnage was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Pequod, to load 34,500 tons of molasses, Marilyn, to unload 19,000 tons of imported wheat, Elemit to load 25,000 tons of cement, Fu Yu Shan, with general cargo and Kota Perdana and APL Yokohama, to load containers.
