ISLAMABAD, Oct 27: Two persons including a woman were killed in separate road accidents here on Monday, police said.

Abid Khan, 25, a resident of Charsadda, suffered multiple injuries when a truck hit his motorcycle while he was taking a turn from University Road to Murree Road.

The truck driver managed to escape along with the vehicle leaving behind the injured who died on the spot. The body was shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for legal process.

In another accident, an unidentified woman was killed after being hit by a speeding car near G-9 Community Centre.

The woman was crossing the road when she was knocked down. The injured was shifted to hospital by the car driver where she died.

The body of the deceased, said to be in her late 20s, was shifted to the mortuary for pending identification and legal process. —Staff Reporter
