Baitullah’s brother killed

BANNU, Oct 26: A younger brother of Baitullah Mehsud, the chief of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, was killed by armed men in Bannu on Sunday morning.

Police recovered the body from the ring road near Nullah Kashu.

The body was taken to the district headquarters hospital, Bunnu, where the deceased was identified as Mohammad Yahya.

The relatives took the body to Daud Shah village, from where it was taken to Waziristan for burial.

Yahya was kidnapped by armed men from his town in Bannu district early on Sunday, police said.He received five bullets to his head and back.

Residents said that Yahya, 35, was not involved in Taliban activities and put the suspicion on Baitullah Mehsud’s opponents.
