NAIROBI, May 9: Foreign ministers from the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) will hold a regular meeting in the Sudanese capital Khartoum next month, the Sudanese embassy in Kenya said on Thursday.

OIC foreign ministers, who met in Kuala Lumpur last month, agreed to a Sudanese request to host the next regular meeting in Khartoum. Like all previous OIC meetings, the talks are expected to be dominated by the Arab-Israeli conflict.

The meeting of the 56-member OIC will take place from June 25 to 27, a short statement issued by the Sudanese embassy said. “It is a regular meeting,” said an embassy spokesman.—Reuters
