Gas tariff

GUJRAT, Oct 26: Pottery and ceramics manufacturers fear closure of more than 100 units and loss of thousands of jobs if the government enhances gas tariff.

At a meeting of the All Pakistan Pottery and Ceramics Manufacturers Association here on Sunday on the implications of the consistent raise in gas and power tariff and the ongoing loadshedding, Muhammad Azam Rehmani briefed the participants about the problems facing their business. He expressed concern at the inflated electricity bills and consistent loadshedding and warned the government against further raise in gas and power tariff. —Correspondent
