HYDERABAD, Oct 26: The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology conducted admission test at the Public School, Latifabad, here on Sunday.

As many as 7,300 candidates, including 1,000 girls, appeared in the test for 1,000 seats. The test was conducted in 82 classrooms.

Vigilance chairman Dr Mohammad Ibrahim Panhwar, Dr Mohammad Aslam Uqaili and others visited the examination centre and inspected arrangements.

Separate arrangements were made for parents and guardians of the candidates who were served tea and refreshments. The university authorities have announced that the test result will be declared on October 28 and displayed on the university notice board and website www.muet.edu.pk. It will also be published in national and regional newspapers and telecast on TV channels.
