ISLAMABAD, Oct 23: All Pakistan OPF Employees Union on Thursday appealed to the president and prime minister to keep Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah on his current portfolio as Federal Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis.

President All Pakistan OPF Employees Union (CBA) Malik Nadeem Shehzad, in a statement said that Khursheed Shah had a good understanding of workers issues and their problems and knew how to solve them. “Based on this, he is best suited for the labour, manpower and overseas ministry and should be retained with the same portfolio,” he added.

Malik Nadeem, who is also senior vice president People’s Labour Bureau, claimed that Mr Khursheed Shah during the short span of time since assumption of responsibility as labour minister has solved many a tricky issues of the working class.—Staff Reporter
