KARACHI, Oct 23: Sindh chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Syed Ghaus Ali Shah on Thursday called on spiritual leader of the Hur Jamaat and chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional Pir Pagara at the Kingri House.

It was his first meeting with Pir Pagara since Mr Shah ended his self-exile to return home from London. The meeting lasted more than two hours during which they exchanged views on the political situation prevailing in the country. They also discussed the possibility of the merger of all PML factions.

PML-N spokesman Mohammad Rafique Zahid Butt told journalists after the meeting that the two leaders agreed in principle to continue talks on unifying PML factions in the larger interest of the country.—Staff Reporter
