LAHORE, Oct 21: The Punjab Cycling Association will hold a race from Lahore to Sahiwal on Thursday on the instructions of its central chapter.

The Pakistan Cycling Federation has advised all the four provinces to hold a big race, and Punjab was selected first to hold it.

A Punjab spokesman said that Army, Wapda, Railways, Sui Northern Gas Company and all four provinces will take part in the competition. The race will start from Qaddafi Stadium, at 9:00 am and finish at Sahiwal the same afternoon.

The participating units have been directed to make it sure that this race will facilitate the effective training for participation of the forthcoming Tour-de-Pakistan.—Sports Reporter
