QUETTA, Oct 17: A division bench of the Balochistan High Court issued notices on Friday to federal interior secretary, provincial home secretary and Quetta’s capital city police officer on a petition filed by a woman, seeking production of her missing son before the court.

The bench comprised Chief Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani.

The petitioner, Khan Bibi, submitted that her son Khan Mohammad, who ran a public call office in the Killi Kamalo suburb of Quetta, was arrested by intelligence personnel on Aug 2 and his whereabouts were still unknown.

The requested prayed the court to direct the authorities concerned to produce Khan Mohammad before the court.The hearing was adjourned till Nov 11.
