HYDERABAD, Oct 16: The wife of a local leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Dr Shafique Arain, and his driver were found shot dead here at Latifabad Unit-2 on Thursday.

According to police, bullet-riddled bodies of 28-year-old Najida Shafique, wife of Dr Shafique Arain and his driver, 35-year-old Shakil Junejo, were found in a bungalow at Latifabad Unit No-2.

On receipt of information about the incident, the area police reached the spot and arrested the watchman and cook of the bungalow and started investigation.

A spokesman for the District Police said that the police were trying to trace Dr Shafique Arain.—APP
