THATTA, Oct 15: The in-charge of chief minister’s inspection team on health, Malik Waqas, paid a surprise visit of Civil Hospital Makli and took exception to the unhygienic conditions, non -provision of medicine to patients and stressed the need to streamline the management of health facilities here on Wednesday.

He interviewed a number of patients and inquired about absentee doctors. He said that he would furnish a detailed report to the Sindh chief minister about the condition and lack of facilities at the hospital.

COURT ORDER: District and Sessions Judge Thatta, Qazi Allah Bux, ordered here on Wednesday to exhume the body of Rashid Mallah to ascertain the causes of his death.—BoC
