Nazims want non-party election

MANSEHRA, May 9: The alliance of district Nazims of Hazara have asked the government to hold the October general election on non-party basis and give constitutional cover to the local bodies.

Mansehra District Nazim Mohammad Azam Khan Swati told newsmen on Thursday that the five district Nazims of Hazara at a meeting held at his Abbottabad residence had agreed to field joint candidates fore the national and provincial assemblies’ seats.

He said the group would mobilize all the elected representatives of to adopt a joint strategy for the elections.
