KARACHI, Oct 10: Three ships carrying containers and diesel oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, four more ships with containers, palm oil and project cargo also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, CMA CGM Nilgai, NYK Cosmos, Jaipur, Richmond, Apostolos, AI-Soor-II and Giovanni, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, palm oil, diesel oil and coke.

A cargo volume of 107,000 tons comprising 90,000 tons of import and 17,000 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Rosa-M and CMA CGM Nilgai sailed out while NYK Cosmos, AI-Soar-II and Apostolos were expected to leave the port.
