DAP dealers ‘fleecing’ farmers

TOBA TEK SINGH, Oct 9: Pakistan Kissan Committee President Chaudhry Fateh Muhammad has condemned the DAP price hike.

In a press statement on Thursday, he said fertiliser companies had fixed the new price of DAP at Rs5,650 per bag that was out of farmers’ reach.

He said DAP dealers were fleecing farmers after the increase in the fertiliser prices.

He said sulphate fertilisers like SSP and TSP were being sold at Rs900 per bag a few days ago, but now their prices had been doubled.

LOADSHEDDING: Faisalabad Electric Supply Company consumers are again facing 16 to 18 hour loadshedding. As a result, several small businesses have been closed and workers unemployed.
