Three killed in two accidents

JACOBABAD, Oct 7: Three people were killed in two road accidents in and near Kandhkot on Monday.

A Kandhkot-bound passenger wagon overturned when a trailer hit it on the Indus Highway near Ghauspur.

Two passengers, Pir Bux Oghai and Younus Arain, died on the spot while ten others including Todo Jafri, Dodo Jafri, Ghulam Yasin, Azhar, Asmatullah, Azizullah, Shabbir, Mohammad Salah Pathan, Mohammad Fazal and driver Zamir Ahmed were injured who were shifted to different hospitals.

In another incident, Shah Mohammad Lashari, his sons Siraj Ahmed 7, Naveed 5, his daughter Ramsha 3, were going on a motorcycle when a speedy tractor hit their motorcycle near Awan Market.

Siraj Ahmed died on the spot, Naveed and his sister Ramsha were injured, who were shifted to Kandhkot hospital.
