LARKANA: Audit team formed

LARKANA, Oct 6: In accordance with the Sindh Local Government Ordinance, the district nazim and DCO have set up an internal audit team.

This was announced here on Monday at a training-cum-orientation session titled “Monthly Reconciliation Statement and Internal Audit”. EDO (finance) Yasin Shar said the team would carry out internal audit of the devolved departments and submit a report to them.

Shaukat Ali, District Officer Finance, Larkana would head the team, he said and added that It would prepare a report on the financial aspects of the district government.—Correspondent
