KARACHI: Man commits suicide

KARACHI, Oct 6: A man committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in Korangi late on Sunday night.

Police said Nauman, 35, committed suicide in his room at Korangi 2-1/2. The victim was an employee of a garment factory. What drove him to end his life could not be confirmed.

Police shifted the body to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities.

Body found

A decomposed body was washed ashore in the limits of the Docks police station on Monday.

Police said the body was found floating near in the berths area of the port.

It was fished out by Edhi volunteers and later was sent to the Civil Hospital for legal formalities.

The identification of the victim could not be established immediately, the police said.
