MIRPURKHAS, Oct 5: Sindh Agriculture Minister Syed Ali Nawaz Shah has said that over 40,000 educated unemployed youths would be provided training with a monthly stipend of Rs4,000 to 7,000 under the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Youth Development Programme.

He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of an agriculture training programme under the youth development programme at the mango exhibition hall here on Sunday.

The minister said that under the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto housing programme, 500 houses would be given free to poor people in the district.

Secretary agriculture Sabhago Khan Jatoi said that under the programme, 5,285 youths would be imparted training this year in different sectors of agriculture sector particularly in agricultural-based industries and during their training scholarship would also be paid to them according to their education and added that after completion of training they would be provided jobs in different industries.

He said that over 12,000 youths under the overseas employment programme would be trained in different skills.
