Haj training programmes

HYDERABAD, Oct 4: Federal Ministry for Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr has planned to organise Haj awareness training programme for intending pilgrims for Haj 2008 in Sindh from Oct 14.

The training programme will be conducted by the ministry through its approved master trainers, a spokesman for the ministry said here on Saturday.

The programme is usually conducted in collaboration with local administration at taluka and district levels, the spokesman said adding that this year, the programme would be conducted in association with the district government for aspiring pilgrims in various districts and talukas of Sindh like other parts of the country.

According to schedule Haj Awareness Training programme will be conducted at Haj Complex Sukkur on Oct 14; at Municipal Hall Larkana on Oct 15; at Municipal Hall Shahdadkot on Oct 16, at District Council Hall Shikarpur on Oct 18 and at District Council Hall, Jacobabad on Oct 20.

Similar sessions will be held at District Council Hall Kandhkot on Oct 21; at Municipal Hall Pano Aaqil on Oct 22, at Municipal Hall Ghotki on Oct 23; at District Council Hall Khairpur Mirs on Oct 25; at Municipal Hall Sakrand on Nov 3; Khuwaja Auditorium Nawabshah on Nov 4; at District Council Hall Naushahro Feroze on Nov 5, and at Municipal Hall Moro on Nov 11.

The programme will also be conducted on November 10, 2008 at Haj complex Sukkur for those who could not attend or reach on scheduled dates at their respective talukas or districts, the spokesman said.
