Eid gifts given to Bajaur DPs

ISLAMABAD, Sept 29: The Pakistan Youth Hostel Association on Monday gave away 100 gift packets to 100 refugee families from Bajaur, who have taken shelter at New Shakrial village.

Each packet contained 10kg of wheat flour, two kilograms of lentils and the same amount of sugar, tea and milk worth Rs200,000, said a press release issued by the association.

Eid gifts for special children: The Hassan Academy for Special Children Principal Dr Ahmed Hassan has said that special children are national asset and it is a social and religious obligation to provide them proper education and care, APP news agency reports.

Speaking at the distribution ceremony of Eid gifts among physically impaired children of Hassan academy here on Monday, he said the philanthropists should contribute money and Eid gifts to these children on such festivals.—Our Reporter
