KARACHI, Sept 27: International Master Mahmood Lodhi left here on Saturday to take part in the Commonwealth chess championship, starting in Nagpur, India, from Sunday (today).

Grand Masters from over 20 Commonwealth countries are taking part in the event which carries prize money of two million Indian rupees.

The winner of the tournament will get Rs200,000.—APP
