NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Sept 23: Two children were killed on Tuesday in Sajan Dhakan, a village in Darya Khan Mari area, when a gun they were playing with accidentally went off.

Darya Khan Mari police said that the incident took place at the house of Ghulam Hussain. According to the police, one of Hussain’s sons, seven-year-old Ghulam Rabbani, got hold of a loaded gun that was left lying carelessly in the house, and went to the other room where his siblings Ghulam Fareed, 6, and Ghulam Fareeda alias Sadori, 4, were playing. The gun accidentally went off killing both the boy and the girl.

The police told Dawn that no case had been registered till the filing of this report.

BODY FOUND: The body of a teenager identified as seventeen-year-old Gulzar, son of Mohammad Sultan, a resident of That Moosa village near Tharushah was found from the River Indus near Tharushah.

The area police said that the body bore marks of torture and the head had marks of wounds apparently inflicted with a blunt weapon. The boy had reportedly been missing for the last two days.

The killing seems to be motivated by some personal enmity as the father of the deceased told reporters that they had some dispute with their relatives Khan Mohammad, Saeed Khan, and Dhani Bux Kalhoro, over some matrimonial issue.

However, no FIR was registered till the filing of this report.

Meanwhile, three armed men deprived a resident of Bhoran village, Shuhabuddin Larik, of his motorcycle.
