Salman smashes half century

KARACHI, Sept 21: Salman Ali smashed an unbeaten half century to fire Medicam Cricket Club into the last-four round of the All Karachi Aga Khan Gymkhana (AKG) Twenty20 Ramazan Trophy when they beat Qasmi Cricket Club by seven wickets at the AKG Ground on Saturday.

Salman cracked seven boundaries and one six in his match-winning knock of 66 as Medicam CC chased the target in 17 overs for the loss of three wickets.

Earlier, Rizwan Haider captured three wickets for 20 runs as Qasmi CC were restricted to 127 for seven wickets in 20 overs.
