BAHAWALPUR, Sept 20: Certain people have shown disappointment at President Asif Ali Zardari’s address to the parliament on Saturday.
National Assembly members Saood Majid Chaudhry and Baleeghur Rehman, Punjab Assembly members Mumtaz Ahmed Jajja and Zulfiqar Ali and former provincial lawmaker Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar said the president’s speech had nothing in it about the welfare of the common man.
The president should have announced reinstatement of the deposed judges and at least a special Eid package for the masses.
