KASUR, May 8: A passenger was run over by a coaster near Gilanwala village, Chunian, on Wednesday.
Reports said Muhammad Azam was trampled under the wheels of the coaster (LXK-4700) when he slipped while trying to board it. He died on the spot.
The Chunian police have registered a case against the absconding driver.
GUTTED: Cotton and machinery worth Rs5 million was reduced to ashes when a textile mills in Phoolnagar, Multan Road, caught fire on Wednesday.
The fire brigade took sometime in extinguishing the fire.
