SHIKARPUR, Sept 18: Traders threatened to observe shutter-down strike if the police failed to arrest the culprits behind attack on life of Engineer Hans Raj, said a meeting of the executive committee of Small Traders Association on Thursday.

Two days ago a group of armed men attacked Engineer Hans Raj when he was working at his refrigerators’ workshop near Lakhi-Gate Tower Chowk.

He was taken to Shikarpur Civil Hospital in serious condition.

He is now reported to have come out of danger.

The traders demanded through a resolution adopted by the meeting that RPO Sukkur, DIG Operation Larkana and DPO Shikarpur arrest the culprits within three days and also take measures against the criminals.
