Dacoits loot passengers

SUKKUR, Sept 17: Dacoits looted cash and other valuables from passengers of wagons and other vehicles in limits of Bagarji police station near Ghumra wah area at Sukkur-Larkana road on Tuesday night.

A gang of over eight armed dacoits blocked Sukkur-Larkana road near Ghumra wah and intercepted wagons and other vehicles and looted cash, gold ornaments, cellphones and other valuables. Later the victims and wagon drivers staged protest demonstration and a sit-in.

They raised slogans against the police and said the police had failed to provide safety and security to people.

Later Bagarji police talked to passengers and protest was ended peacefully.
