Girl student thrashed

MULTAN, Sept 12: An undergraduate female student of the Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) has alleged that a few male students thrashed her on campus.

The alleged victim wrote to the vice-chancellor that she was thrashed by some male students outside the Mass Communication Department on Thursday after she stopped them from pestering her. They escaped when security guards of the university arrived at the incident place.

The BZU administration has sent the case to the university’s disciplinary committee which would meet on Sunday to decide the matter.
