KARACHI, Sept 11: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Under-18 Ramazan Floodlit Football Tournament commences from Sept 13 at the T-Ground in Karachi’s Gulberg Town. This was announced by chief organiser AFC Aid-27 coach Syed Nasir Ismail on Thursday.

The tournament featuring eight teams comprises four coached by AFC coaches Nasir Ismail, Saleem Patli, Zafar Iqbal and Hassan Baloch and four academy outfits, namely, Coca Cola XI, Hadi Tabani XI, Karachi Flames and Haji Liaquat XI.

The Ramazan tournament will be held alongside another youth event — the Hadi Saleem Tabani Memorial Football tournament for clubs — in memory of a late youth player. The side tournament features some 16 club teams from all over Karachi.

The shorter 40-minute duration matches comprising two 20-minute halves will be played every day beginning 10.30pm.

Both tournaments conclude on Sept 21.
