Another dengue case surfaces

HYDERABAD, Sept 10: The Hyderabad Civil Hospital confirmed on Wednesday two-year-old Mukesh as another positive case of dengue virus.

The boy who belonged to 78-Mori, between Mirpurkhas and Umerkot, was brought to the hospital on Sept 6 with complaints of bleeding from mouth and nose.

The hospital carried out tests on the boy and found him a positive case of dengue virus, said RMO Dr Saleem Raza.

The boy was under treatment and would be discharged soon, he said, adding that earlier a woman named Pari from Chhachhro had reported at the hospital as dengue virus patient on Aug 31.

She too had been discharged after treatment, he said.
