KASUR, Sept 9: A policeman was killed and another injured when robbers opened fire at them in Pattoki City police precincts late on Monday night.
Constables Muhammad Irfan and Muhammad Rafiq were patrolling Pattoki–Changa Manga Road when robbers opened fire at them near grid station. As a result, Rafiq was killed at the scene and Irfan was injured seriously. He was taken to Pattoki Civil Hospital.
ROBBED: Robbers deprived a man of his motorcycle and Rs50,000 in Khudian police precincts on Tuesday.
Muhammad Amin was going from Khudian to Khai village when three robbers stopped him near Khai and snatched his motorcycle and Rs50,000.
Separately, robbers looted cash from a showroom in B-Division police precincts. Two robbers, disguised as customers, entered Muhammad Yaseen’s furniture showroom on Hasan Bin Sabat Road and took away Rs12,000.
