Delhi City Gym beat A.O. Cricket Club

KARACHI, Sept 8: Opener Aqeel Anjum hit an unbeaten half-century to steer Delhi City Gymkhana to a five-wicket victory over A.O. Cricket Club in the 23rd Karachi Gymkhana Twenty20 Ramazan Cricket Cup at the KG Ground on Monday.

Aqeel batted smartly for his 64 not out off 49 balls with four fours and two sixes. Hasan Qasim (27) and former Test batsman Mansoor Akhtar (23) took their team to victory with five wickets and 25 balls to spare.

Earlier, the AOCC were restricted to 129-6 in the stipulated 20 overs. Adnan topscored with 48. Left-arm spinner Jalat Khan finished with figures of 3-17.
