PM’s cousin robbed

RAWALPINDI, Sept 8: A cousin of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Uzma Raza Gilani, was robbed of her purse, which contained gold jewellery and cash, by two gunmen at Rabi Centre on Monday night.

The robbery victim told Dawn that two motorcyclists came close to their car and snatched her purse which contained a watch worth Rs250,000, gold jewellery, diamond ring and cash.

Shortly after the incident, they left for Islamabad.

However they returned to the New Town police station to lodge an FIR.

The city police officer Rawalpindi, Rao Mohammad Iqbal, rushed to the police station and started investigation.—Staff Reporter
