KARACHI, Sept 8: The following were Monday commodity market rates in rupees.

Oilseeds

RAPESEED (per 40 kg): Dadulane 1,300 to 1,350; Mirpurlane 1,550 to 1,600; Nawabshah 1,675 to 1,700; Castor Seed (Sindh) 900 to 950.

EDIBLE OILS (per 40 kg): Coconut oil 7,500 to 8,500; Rapeseed and Mustard oil 4,000 to 4,400; Ghee Vanaspati (per 16 kg) 1,840 to 1,984.

Cereals

BARELY (per 100 kg): 1,450 to 1,600; Bajra 1,800 to 2,200; Maize 1,750 to 1,880; Jowar 1,500 to 1,600; Wheat Mexi Pak 2,200 to 2,300; Maida (80 kg) 2,200 to 2,300; Suji 2,200 to 2,300; Atta 1,920 to 1,960.

RICE (per 100 kg): Basmati Karnel 6,000 to 8,000; 386 Basmati 4,500 to 5,500; Basmati 385 Saila 4,500 to 5,500; Basmati Broken 3,500 to 4,500; Basmati Super 6,200 to 8,200; Irri-6 Sindh 3,600 to 4,400; Irri-9 Sindh 4,400 to 4,800.

Pulses

WHOLE (per 100 kg): Mash (Imported) 5,200 to 5,500; Masur (Imported) 8,500 to 9,500; Moong (Punjab) 4,000 to 4,800; Gram Yellow 3,800 to 4,400; Gram White (Kabli) 6,500 to 7,500; Gram Black 5,000 to 5,400; Arhar 5,400 to 5,800; Gram 4,600 to 5,000.WASHED (per 40 kg): Mash 2,300 to 2,500; Moong 1,900 to 1,980; Masoor 4,000 to 4,200; Arhar 2,800 to 3,000; Gram (100 kg) 5,700 to 5,900.

SUGAR (per 40 kg): 1,250 to 1,280; Sugar Desi 1,350 to 1,450; Gur 1260 to 1,340.

Spices

WHOLE (per 40 kg): Kunri (dandicut) 5,000 to 6,000; Chillies dandicut 4,600 to 5,000; Cumminseed white Zeera 5,200 to 5,800.

Cumminseed black Zeera 7,500 to 8,500; Ajwan 2,600 to 3,000; Turmeric Gantha 2,100 to 2,400; Turmeric Lambi 2,400 to 2,700; Corianderseed (No I) 4,000 to 4,800.

Corianderseed (No II) 3,400 to 4,000; Fenugreek (Methi) 2,800 to 3,200; Tamarind 1,000 to 1,150; Garlic 1150 to 1250; Plum Dry 5,800 to 7,000.

Dry fruits

Pistachio (Peshawari) 20,000 to 26,000; Pistachio (Kandhari) 24,000 to 28,000; Coconut Edible 2,800 to 4,000; Coconut (FMS) 2,000 to 2,200; Dates (Khajoor) 1,200 to 2,000; Dry Dates 3,200 to 3,600.

Poultry

EGGS: Rs1,560 to Rs1,565 per crate of 30 dozens, Broiler (Live): Rs110 per kilo; Culled Bird (Live): Rs58 per kilo.

The following are the maximum retail rates for Tuesday:

EGGS: Rs55 per dozen, Broiler (Live): Rs112 per kilo, Cull Bird (Live): Rs60 per kilo.
