Usman steers bankers to victory

KARACHI, Sept 7: Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) defeated Aga Khan University Faculty & Staff by 23 runs in the fourth AKU Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament at the AKU Ground on Saturday.

DIB, batting first, collected 163 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.

Usman hit nine fours and two sixes in his 65.

Shoaib Akhtar hoisted three sixes and one boundary in his 38.

Dr. Jahangir Khan claimed three wickets for 22 runs.

Aga Khan in reply could muster 140-9 in 20 overs. Razi Hussain made 31 with three hits to the boundary. Ahmer Farooq grabbed four wickets for 30 runs.
