KARACHI: Pensioners

Published September 8, 2008

KARACHI, Sept 7: Workers of the city government have expressed their concern over non-payment of pension, gratuity and other benefits to pensioners.

President of the Sajjan Union (CBA) Syed Zulfiqar Shah said on Sunday that pensioners were not being paid the 15 per cent increase while many of the retried employees remained deprived of pension, gratuity, group insurance and other benefits.

He alleged that the DO concerned had put their files in pending for months.—PPI
