HYDERABAD, Sept 4: A press photographer of a Sindhi daily committed suicide, early Thursday morning.

Abrar Ahmed of Hyderabad based Sindhi daily, ‘Faislo’ committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope in his home. He was said to be in his late twenties while marks of rope with which he hanged himself were visible on his neck.

It was reported that Abrar Ahmed went into depression soon after being sacked from newspaper job, a few days back. On domestic front, he was having tensed relations with second wife which he solemnised just four months ago.

He was found hanging in his room by the family who initially attributed the death to cardiac arrest and avoided taking him to the hospital because of police fear. However, his friends took him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Autopsy was conducted on police pressure from Bhittai Hospital though family was reluctant.
